HOW I MEASURED EVERYTHING

Rankings are the official FIFA positions released June 11, 2026.

"Schedule strength" is the average FIFA ranking of the last five opponents. A lower number means tougher opposition. It is a rough measurement because rankings are ordinal, but it gives us a consistent comparison.

"Top-league players" means players on the official 26-man squad currently attached to a top-flight club in England, Spain, Germany, Italy or France. This understates teams with strong players in Portugal, the Netherlands, Scotland, Belgium, MLS or Liga MX.

My fair odds include the draw. Actual odds are the sportsbook prices shown separately.

Odds Source: Odds shown are the prices captured when this analysis was prepared. They are not live prices and may have changed. Confirm current odds before wagering.

Main Scorer: Breel Embolo — 25 international goals

Other Scorers: Ruben Vargas (12), Zeki Amdouni (11), Remo Freuler (11), Granit Xhaka (18)

IMPORTANT PLAYERS — CANADA

Jonathan David, Alphonso Davies, Tajon Buchanan, Tani Oluwaseyi, Moïse Bombito and Ismaël Koné.

Main Scorer: Jonathan David — 42 international goals

Second Scorer: Cyle Larin — 32

Alphonso Davies: 15 international goals

Key Notes: Switzerland's 4–1 win against Bosnia was 1–1 before Bosnia received a late red card. Jonathan David scored a hat trick against Qatar; Qatar finished that match with nine players. Ismaël Koné suffered a broken leg and is out. Alphonso Davies had a hamstring concern. Stephen Eustáquio missed training. Moïse Bombito was recently returning.

Motivation & Crowd: Both teams have four points. Canada finishes first with a win or draw. Switzerland needs at least a draw to guarantee advancement. Canada has home support at BC Place in Vancouver. More than 52,000 attended Canada vs Qatar. The standings situation creates draw gravity.

ODDS & PROBABILITIES

Outcome Sportsbook Implied My Prob. My Fair Odds
Switzerland +135 42.6% 40% +150
Draw 30% +233
Canada +230 30.3% 30% +233

Verdict: No straight-moneyline bet. Switzerland has the deeper roster, but Canada has home field and only needs a draw.

Projected Score: Switzerland 1–1 Canada

MINIMUM SCORER PRICES

Jonathan David: +185 or better | Breel Embolo: +225 or better | Ruben Vargas: +325 or better

Alternative: Under 2.5 goals at a reasonable price.

Haris Tabaković: 4 international goals

IMPORTANT PLAYERS — QATAR

Main Scorer: Almoez Ali — 58 international goals

Other Scorers: Akram Afif (40), Hassan Al-Haydos (39)

Qatar's squad is almost entirely domestic, which provides familiarity but gives it a lower athletic and physical ceiling.

Suspensions: Homam Ahmed and Assim Madibo

Key Notes: Bosnia faced the toughest recent schedule on the slate. Bosnia eliminated Italy in the playoff. Tarik Muharemović is suspended after his red card. Džeko remains the finishing reference but is no longer a 90-minute pressing striker.

Motivation & Crowd: Both teams have one point. Both essentially need to win. A draw probably eliminates both. Bosnia should have the stronger natural diaspora support in Seattle. Qatar cannot remain in a deep defensive shell for the entire match.

ODDS & PROBABILITIES

Outcome Sportsbook Implied My Prob. My Fair Odds
Bosnia −240 70.6% 70% −233
Draw 19% +426
Qatar +650 13.3% 11% +809

Verdict: Bosnia −240 is approximately fair and is one of the more dependable favorites.

Projected Score: Bosnia 2–0 Qatar

MINIMUM SCORER PRICES

Edin Džeko, if starting: +130 or better | Ermedin Demirović: +175 or better | Akram Afif: +400 or better

John McGinn: 21 international goals

Scott McTominay: 15 international goals

Che Adams: 13 international goals

IMPORTANT PLAYERS — BRAZIL

Vinícius Júnior, Matheus Cunha, Bruno Guimarães and Lucas Paquetá.

Neymar: 79 career goals (Brazil's leading scorer in squad; do not recommend wager before confirmed lineup)

Matheus Cunha: Scored twice against Haiti

Vinícius Júnior: Scored against Haiti and equalized against Morocco

Key Notes: Scotland lost without scoring against its two strongest recent opponents. Raphinha is out with a hamstring injury. Neymar is available, but his role is uncertain. Brazil faced the second-hardest recent schedule of these teams. Brazil averaged three goals per match over the last five.

Motivation and Crowd: Brazil wants a win to guarantee advancement and strengthen its chance of winning the group. Scotland should defend compactly rather than trade attacks. More than 8,000 Scottish supporters travelled to Miami-area events. Brazil should also have strong neutral and diaspora support.

ODDS & PROBABILITIES

Outcome Sportsbook Implied My Prob. My Fair Odds
Brazil −280 73.7% 72% −257
Draw 19% +426
Scotland +700 12.5% 9% +1011

Verdict: Brazil is highly likely to win, but the price includes a small Brazil tax.

Projected Score: Brazil 2–0 Scotland

MINIMUM SCORER PRICES

Vinícius Júnior: +135 or better | Matheus Cunha: +170 or better | Scott McTominay: +500 or better

Second Scorer: Frantzdy Pierrot — 34

Other Dangerous Players: Jean-Ricner Bellegarde, Wilson Isidor, Carlens Arcus

Key Notes: Morocco's main concern is finishing and conversion. Haiti has already been eliminated. Morocco is chasing victory and goals. Morocco can still finish ahead of Brazil. Morocco intends to use a strong lineup.

Motivation and Crowd: Atlanta is neutral ground. Haiti has a meaningful American diaspora, but Morocco has the stronger competitive motivation.

Patrik Schick: 26 international goals

Czechia Note: Led in both first two World Cup matches but failed to win either.

IMPORTANT PLAYERS — MEXICO

Raúl Jiménez, Santiago Giménez, Edson Álvarez, Luis Romo, Álvaro Fidalgo and Gilberto Mora.

Raúl Jiménez: 46 international goals

Mexico Note: Has already clinched first place, so rotation must remain a major part of the betting analysis.

Key Notes: Czechia scored and conceded in all five recent matches. Mexico has already clinched first place. Heavy rotation is a major risk. Czechia needs a positive result. The match is at the Azteca. Mexico has the strongest crowd advantage on the slate.
